Kamikochi is a valley located in the northern part of Nagano Prefecture in central Japan.
It is included in the Central Mountain National Park and is known for its scenic beauty.
Kamikochi is a popular spot for hiking and camping, and also has many hot springs.
It is a place to visit at various times of the year, as it shows its beauty in each of the four seasons.

Kappa Bridge is the most famous suspension bridge in Kamikochi.
It is the most visited bus terminal.
The bridge is named after the kappa, a mythical creature said to live in the river below.
The Hotaka mountain range is located in the northern part of Nagano Prefecture.
These mountains are known for their beautiful autumn foliage.
Myojin Bridge (Kamikochi 5)
Myojin Bridge is a wooden bridge located in Matsumoto City.
The bridge is named after the Myojin family, who once owned the land.
This bridge is a popular spot for photography.

Myojin Pond is the goal point of Kamikochi.

The “Okusha” shrine is particularly mysterious, and when you pass through the Zuijinmon gate, you feel as if you have entered another world.

Ubasute Station|The three most beautiful train windows in Japan
Terraced rice paddies seen from Ubasai Station.
This place is called “one of the three most beautiful train-window views in Japan,” and many people get off the train while it is stopped to take pictures from here.
Many people only get off during the stop, but I personally encourage you to get off and explore the spectacular view.

I myself visited in the fall.
It is recommended to go around in a circle, but it takes nearly one hour.
Mononoke Forest
Mononoke Forest is about a 30-minute walk from the entrance to Shirakoma Pond.
